1. All CGIs must placed under the HTML home directory and extension must in .cgi or .pl. To change this attribute. Edit the file /opt/httpd/conf/httpd.conf and find the line:
| AddHandler cgi-script .cgi .pl |
Append any extension for CGI executable.
Note: This change will affect all the virtual host web site.
2. Restart the Web Server
# /opt/httpd/bin/apache restart
